Kingsteignton in Bloom Competition 2023

We are pleased to announce that this competition will take place again this year!

We welcome entries from residents, businesses and schools, pre-schools, children’s nurseries and child-minders who involve the children they care for, in a little gardening.

This is not a professional competition, it is just for you to be proud of what you have created in your garden and would like to share a photo of and meet like minded gardeners.  Whether you have a beautiful single hanging basket, container or a whole fruit and vegetable patch please consider entering.  If you are a really keen gardener and wish to enter your whole garden then please do so also.

We will have a couple of judges and a photographer visit you on one of the judging days, either July 14th or 15th and prizes will be awarded at a presentation event on August 16th at a local venue. TBA

Kingsteignton in Bloom Winners 2022

To all of our 2022 participants

We would like to ‘Thank you’ all for taking part in this year’s competition.  It was lovely to see such beautiful entries!  It was a pleasure making the presentations to you at the event held on Wednesday 24th August at the Old Rydon. (Winners as pictured above with Mayor, Cllr Ron Peart, Mayoress, Mrs June Peart and Cllr Martin Field).

We hope that you all enjoyed taking part and welcome you all back next year and we also look forward to receiving new entries as well.

Each year, we encourage anybody who is proud of their garden display/s, whether it is just one single basket or container or the whole garden or vegetable display, to have a go and enter the annual competition.

Please keep a look out in the Spring for next year’s event if this may have been of interest to you!
