PPE for Front Liners

Published: 21 July 2020

Dave Dayman and his partner Jackie who are both local residents to Kingsteignton have both been busy making face masks for frontline NHS staff. After being furloughed from his playground design job he decided that he would turn the 3D printer he has towards creating PPE face shields and mask straps. He also decided to invest personally in a second 3D printer to help keep up with demand for these items. Currently, he has been supplying free PPE to anyone who needs it but, prioritising those in the front line, including: 'Newton Abbot Hospital/ Langdon Hospital/Various nursing homes and Derriford Hospital.

He has also recently delivered a large quantity to Bluebird Care in Kingsteignton to help protect their staff.

A fundraising site has been set up to try and help with the rising costs of these items.

If you are able to help Dave and Jackie to support their costs in making this very important PPE, then please visit either of the two sites listed below:-
